Last year Trinity CRC joined 12^th Avenue CRC in the Kids Hope USA program at Bursley Elementary School. Currently we have 14 mentors working with 14 children... A special thanks goes out to Amy Boeskool, Laurie Bolhouse, Missy Dykema, Mark Dykstra, Sharon Elders, Jennifer Heeringa, Kathy Jelsema, Pastor Gerry Koning, Pete Ludwig, Carol Nyeholt, Kellie Phillips, Amy Rigterink, Sue Van Randwyk, and Dawn Walt for serving in this ministry.

A big thank you also to Amy Baragar, Karla Bandstra, Scott Bolhouse, Marie De Vries, Kim Ghent, Melinda Koetje, Kathy Lambers, Dan Postma, Mary Rozendal, and Dave Van Randwyk who served as special prayer partners for our mentors. Prayer is so important!

As we approach the start of a new school year, we are excited to continue this ministry. We anticipate there will be a need for at least 5 to 8 additional mentors this year. The time commitment it relatively minor, just 1 hour per week. The benefits to the student and to the mentor are immeasurable. Just ask any of the mentors listed above.

We are also in need of an Events Coordinator for Kids Hope this year. This person would be asked to plan just 2 to 3 simple, fun activities for the year, such as a bowling party, pool party, etc. Help is available from the prior Event Coordinators at 12^th Avenue CRC to get you started.
