Trinity plans to help Rosedale Park Baptist Church work on their old basement.  This project will take place over many weekends and we'd love lots of help.  If you can come for just one Saturday or if you'd like to help out for many, we have space for you.  We will need some skilled labor in the areas of electrical, plumbing, construction, tile, laminate, etc. but we will also need general laborers and people to help out with feeding all the laborers.  The weekends that we plan on going to Detroit for this project are March 17, March 24, March 31, April 7, and April 14.  If you are able to participate in any of these weekends, please contact the church office or Gary Vander Heide for more information.

Dodge ball, soccer, basketball video games until 2:30 in the morning, loud music, games, chaos, lack of sleep and a messy church.  Sounds like what you might expect from teenagers. Boarded up windows, unkempt lawns, abandoned houses, garbage and stray animals.  This might be what you would expect in the hood of Detroit.  Worship, communication, relationships, bonding, service, work, a mission and a vision.  These are some of the many things that we often neglect to report...
