newsletter gateway

The newsletter staff would like to invite you to join us. As a platform for “family” news, we could use a few people out there willing to serve as our “reporters”. That is not as frightening as it sounds. If you belong to a Bible study group, a social group (XYZers, for instance) we would love it if you would volunteer to report news from your group to the newsletter staff. Do you have to write the article for the newsletter? Only if you would like to. If you are more comfortable with relaying the information for someone else to write, we are willing to help you out there.

As a newsletter staff, we have made it our mission to serve as the information gateway for the church. But that is not a task we can perform without help from you. We as a staff of four cannot be in all places at all times to know all things that need to be shared with the “family”. If you are a good listener, someone who is willing to listen to the stories of others, someone who can jot down a few points and highlights from a social gathering, someone who has a good idea for an item of interest to be shared, we would very much appreciate your help. So talk to us,e-mail us, put a note in one of our boxes. We welcome your ideas, your help.

We now feature a section where one may share their personal spiritual journey.  Knowing that for most of us, speaking our testimony is uncomfortable, to say the least, we as a staff wondered if it would be more comforting to write it.  Now the word testimony may make you wonder exactly what is it that you should say.  Our answer is -- anything from your life experiences, from your personal or group Bible studies, from your walk with God that would encourage someone else.  So think of it less as a testimony in the most accepted sense of the word and more of a sharing one or two snippets of how the Lord is walking with you in your life right now.  You are probably already sharing some of this information with people around you every day -- family members, work colleagues, close friends, spiritual mentors.  Why not share it with the broader church family?  You never know whose heart the story of your journey will encourage.

Thank you to you from us,

The Trinity Tidings Staff
