Augusto grew up in Ayacucho, Peru, in a Roman Catholic family which spoke strongly to him against the evil Protestant missionaries.  In high school and college he abandoned whatever faith he had and joined a group of Socialist revolutionaries.  During this time, Augusto was invited by some Christian students to a Bible study and their peaceful, patient, and kind ways eventually led him to accept Christ.  In order to become a better equipped as a new believer, Augusto attended Lima Evangelical Seminary for four years.liza  He then returned to the area of his hometown to begin teaching the Word of God.

About this time, his revolutionary days caught up with him and he was arrested, briefly imprisoned, and even tortured by the Peruvian army.  The police were also looking for him.  Augusto credits the hand of God for sparing his life during this time.

Augusto has learned throughout his ministry that God sometimes uses hardships to teach us His will and help us serve him better.

Augusto has had ministries in Peru and other South American countries.  He is currently service churches and people in the area of Campinas, Brazil.

Please continue to lift up Augusto and his ministry in prayer.
