prayer1

"It is written," he (Jesus) said to them, "My house will be called a house of prayer."

(Matthew 21:13a)

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions
with all kinds of prayers and requests.”

(Ephesians 6:18a)

Trinity has always had members that loved prayer and spent time in prayer. In 1997, it became an even more important part of the church. A small group of members decided to get together each Sunday morning before worship and pray for the church. That group became Trinity’s first prayer team.

The objective of this team has been to help enable Trinity to become a house of prayer, and that to have its members pray to the Spirit on all occasions and for all kinds of reasons. Since then, prayer ministry has been strengthened at Trinity and peoples' relationships with their Savior Jesus Christ have also grown.

A number of things are in place to help those seeking to grow in prayer to be able to do so:

  • Prayer line
  • Emergency prayer chain
  • Prayer before church on Sunday mornings (9:15-10:45 am)
  • Pastor prayer shield
  • Intercessors for the prayer ministry
  • Healing prayer team
  • Prayer request box
  • Prayer path (on occasion)
  • Members of our church leading prayer during our morning service
  • Sunday school classes praying for the leadership of Trinity
