Creating community is one of the essential ingredients in the church of Jesus Christ.  Here at Trinity we have been very intentional about creating community in what we call Life Groups.  These are small groups of 6 to 18 people that get together regularly to study the Bible, eat together, serve others together and help one another in times of need.  Most of the Life Groups meet in each other’s homes on Sundays.  But when the need arises we start groups to meet at whatever time is convenient for those in the group.

The Apostle Paul uses the phrase, “one another,” dozens of times in his letters.  If you read them over carefully he is urging us as Christians to do things like, “be devoted to one another, live in harmony with one another, encourage one another, love one another” and the list goes on.  Truthfully, the only way a church can accomplish this is to get together in small enough groups to be able to live this kind of Christian life.  This is why our Life Groups have become such an important part of our life at Trinity.  If you have never found a loving spiritual family, one of the Life Groups at Trinity might just be for you.
